The Process

We start by understanding your needs and goals… and end with a solid foundation for the growth and success of your business.

Step 1

Discovery Meeting

Our first meeting offers us a chance to explore the needs of your project and how I can be of help. I will share my thoughts about what we can create and accomplish with your site and online identity and give you a general sense of what you can expect from the project.

By the end of this meeting, we will have a clear idea of the scope of work, timeline and strategy for going forward. You will have a good sense of the different services I can provide, roughly how much each will cost, and our next steps in the process.

Step 2

Client Preparation

Using tools I have developed to assist our process, you will vision and create information that will become the foundation for our project.

Step 3

Design Phase

Next, using tools I have developed to assist our process, I will develop up to three design concepts for your exploration and review. From there, we collaborate to refine your brand identity and/or website - the visual feel (colors, typography, images), site architecture, functionality and content design. If desired, I also provide copy editing and headshot photography as added services.

This phase lasts until all site content, design elements and functionality are launch-ready and you are completely satisfied with the result.

Step 4

Brand Guide & Web Editor Training

Maintaining a consistent brand style fosters and protects recognition of and relationship to your brand identity. The colors, fonts, logo, images and website we have created together are now ready to carry your business forward in the years to come.

To set you up for success, in this phase I provide training to familiarize you with how to represent your brand per your Numinosity Design Brand Guide (for brand identity clients) and/or tutorial on the Squarespace editor (for website clients.)

Step 5

Launch!

In this final phase for website clients, I shepherd all aspects of launching your new site. From transfers of services (hosting, email, or domain registration) to building out SEO and overseeing the process through launch, I’ll be there every step of the way until your site is live.

If any questions or issues arise once your site is live, I provide complimentary web support for three months post-launch.
